Happy Girls room & a Boys "undecorated look" room

Here are two room tours by Interior designer Rebecca Robeson from Robeson Designs   

This is a nice and cheerful girl's pink and green room.

The room with another view that has some more happy colours thrown here and there.

Lots of storage and display spaces for girlie paraphernalia. The fun part is that it has my favorite bubble chair. Of course its a kids room in a luxury home, so moolah is not an issue here!

 

The next one is a boys room which she calls "coolest undecorated boys room" as the eleven year old did not want the room to look like a decorator did it.

This room is also pretty cool. Great layout, fun bunk bed, also speaks about the boys love for baseball and his collections are well displayed. Way to go Rebecca!!

Robotron

Here is a concept room, designed by Russian designers from Geometrix, that can transform your kids' world.

A perfect room for a child who enjoys sci - fi or robotics. The geometric lines and the embedded pics in them look awesome to me. I am sure a Kid will be jumping  with joy.

Besides, I would always give an extra star to a design that incorporates  a fun element and in this case it has this geometric yet cozy nook.

Ship Ahoy!

This awesome room was designed for a lucky six year old, by Kuhl Design Build. More than being a jawdropping design this room is a manifestation of a father's wish to give his son Zach a childhood full of fun and  adventure.

The focal point of the room is this floating ship. Here you also see the rope bridge to reach it.

The crows nest. The ship  also houses a bed (not seen here) for special friends.

A Japanese Sci-FI room

I happen to stumble upon this awesome Sci-Fi Theme room @ Gigazine. This room is designed around "Evangelion(A Japanese Sci-Fi Series)" .

This  life size model of Rei Ayanami reminds me of G-one in the glass case from the movie Ra-one

The bed, which looks like a space capsule, continues with the theme.

The futuristic photo wall adds to the decor...I love it!

Love reading Famous Five, Geronimo Stilton or Secret Seven? Not just kids, I am sure you would love to watch a James Bond or a Jason Bourne movie or enjoy solving the mystery as you watch the movie. TV is full of good thrillers to keep you guessing with CSI, White Collar, NYPD and more. Did you ever wish you could be a secret agent and solve those mysteries? Well, now you can live that...in your kids room. Give them an experience they will love and develop a knack for solving mysteries. 

So here its is,  for you the secret agent in you that is secretly trying to get out.

A super cool  " SPY ROOM" from the crew  of  "EXTREME MAKEOVER" created for a 10 year old!

This "Extreme" room is complete with all what a secret agent would need to solve the toughest mysteries. It starts with a fingerprint scanner to enter the room and a Red hot button in the room to shut the door fast, so no one can get at you. Check out the flooring, with a large fingerprint to add to the character. A command center with  red "hotline" phone to get his new assignments. A storage safe to hide his secret gadgets. You are sure to score a goal with your footballer/soccer player, if this is what you have as an inspiration while doing up his room.  This room is created by Team 7 Austria.

 This room is nicely divided into zones. the raised area is the sleeping and storing zone and the lower one is like a playroom with study on one side and a bunk bed with a goal post on the other.

 Check out the flooring, done up in green like a soccer field

Your child is sure to strike with a room like this!

Altamoda from Italy has come up with a new range of elegant rooms for boys, here is a quick peek at them 

I love this concept. The colours, the accessories, the finish....very elegant...perfect for teen horse lovers.

This one is for  Aviation fanatics. The colours of the sky and clouds. With Airplanes all over.

This concept is of-course the sea. Bright and calming at the same time. Sea it for yourself!

2 superhero rooms - American and Italian

Here are two rooms with Superhero theme. Both done up in very different styles. 

A nice and comfortable room from PB Kids, has a lot of character to it. Classic bed designs . Love the brick and the skyline finished wall as a part of the backdrop. 

The above room is from Cia International and has a very modern minimal look to it. Like the idea of having the comic cover on the wardrobe shutters. Also like the modern upholstered bed with soft edges.

After Cars... what comes second in popularity is Superhero themes for kids rooms. Super hero themes not only appeal to kids but grown up's as well. Dads really get excited and involved in making up the room, when this is the theme.
Keeping this in mind probably  Cia International (Italy), signed a licence agreement with Warner Brothers to create Super hero theme rooms. Check out Superman, Batman and Wonder woman in action in these rooms.

Superheros are fun and an image your child can connect with....Today  I found a super hero inspired room done by Cheri. A very talented mom of two boys.  Most of the DIY super hero rooms I have come across have turned out to be tacky and disappointing. She has done a great job (along with her talented parents) of appealing to boys AND being tasteful, and fun for the boys. The room has turned out to be funzone for her son "superhero Rex".

The cityscape in grey scale adds drama while blending in the room.

The colourful superhero painting in the focal point along with the colourful quilt pops out in the otherwise neutral room

In the room sits a batmobile which doubles up as a reading nook.
